CyberLink ColorDirector places a good selection of visual adjustment tools at your disposal, but for videos. The software lets you increase and decrease the exposure, adjust colors and perform other operations with only a few clicks, as if you were working on a still image. If you are not satisfied with how a movie or a home video looks, this tool will definitely help you make the adjustments you want.

The software is free to try for a certain period of time, with only a few minor limitations. It doesn't take long to complete the installation process and there is no need to make any complex configurations. The hardware requirements are a bit high, but they shouldn't be too much for a modern day computer.

Working on a video in CyberLink ColorDirector involves going through three stages. First, you have to import your videos and add them to a storyboard and then go to the adjustments tab, which can be selected on the upper part of the interface. Finally, you can export your adjusted video, on another tab, in various formats.

Regardless of which tab you have selected, the imported video and the storyboard will always remain in the same locations. All possible adjustments can be made on the left side of the user interface just by clicking and dragging sliders and other basic tools. The software lets you modify the video's exposure, brightness, contrast, colors and you can even use curves to adjust the red, blue and green channels. Besides making manual adjustments, you can also apply one of many presets.

Videos can be exported in all popular formats, with different encoding settings and in different country formats (NTSC or PAL). Alternatively, you can upload your videos to YouTube or Viemo, from the same user interface.

Pros

You can make all sorts of visual adjustments on your videos. Adjusted videos can be saved on the hard drive or uploaded to the Internet. The software's controls are well organized and easy to master.

Cons

The software comes with a few limitations. Fortunately, they won't prevent a proper evaluation of the product. With CyberLink ColorDirector, videos can be made to look significantly better without any kind of effort.
